Denis Kaminskiy and Lars Malmqvist have created a report for BCC outlining some extremely interesting opportunities for improving IT services and saving money for the council. They have collected data and delivered an outline of potential benefits and next steps.
Following the report, we are examining proposals for pilots of specific cloud based applications enabled by Arcus Global tools and software. Their simple and logical approach to IT service delivery and guidance on the direction of travel in the cloud computing industry is assisting our strategic development. We believe there may be potential to make significant savings in Local Government IT.
