We built our Cloud monitoring services to enable us to monitor and manage large server estates for multiple clients with a small team of experts. The service is free to our managed service clients but can be purchased separately by clients who want to provide our automated and customisable monitoring service for their own support team. The service has three components:
- A proprietary agent that monitors servers and collects system and application logs
- A rules-based event correlation and management system that ingests logs, searches for alerts and decides whether to cut a ticket on our, your or your suppliers’ service desks
- A dedicated, secure portal for each client that lets you see how your infrastructure is running, dynamically report on issues or trends and print or export the data for further analysis
Clients can customise the threshold and alerting behaviour of existing alerts at no cost. New alerts and associated reports are typically provided within two weeks at a fixed cost of £2,500.
