Arcus Global has successfully achieved sign-off from HMLR (Her Majesty’s Land Registry) for its integration with their digital Local Land Charges (LLC) Register. This means that, once migrated, Arcus’ local authority land charges customers will be able to maintain their local registers and automatically update the central HMLR LLC Register. This underpins the instant online search result via GOV.UK using the Search for Local Land Charges service.

This significant milestone benefits all concerned and allows Arcus to proceed with rolling out the integration toolset to its customer base, enabling more local authorities to be migrated by the transformational HMLR programme to this important new digital service.

Arcus is currently working on the first migration with Folkestone & Hythe District Council. Once they are up and running, Arcus will focus on a phased roll-out to the rest of its local authority land charges customers.

Peter Dewsbury, CEO Arcus Global commented:

“Working with the HMLR has been a positive process throughout the programme.   Arcus staff have worked alongside their development team to ensure that we provide a connector which meets the needs of a modern land charges service.   We look forward to now engaging with their delivery team to roll the connector out to the wider user base.”

Allison Bradbury Head of Local Land Charges Implementation, HM Land Registry said:

“We are really pleased that Arcus are working with us to support the transfer of local authority LLC data to the national register. Their expertise and collaborative approach will enable local authorities to develop API solutions, which allow the LLC register to be updated simply. These solutions also take us closer to our ambition of transferring all local LLC data to the national register by 2025.”
