Arcus Global’s Arcus Answer call automation solution has been deployed by an ambulance service and the NHS to further support the response to Covid-19. Developed using the Amazon Connect Cloud Telephony platform, Arcus Answer processes any calls the call handler deems lower priority, to ensure more urgent calls are always given preference. The solution will also assist with further call triage, deflection and prioritisation.
The Arcus Answer call automation solution was deployed in less than two weeks for both the ambulance service and the NHS to assist in the response to Covid-19.
“The hope, however, is the solutions will get very little use”, comments Gary Beddow, Business Development Director at Arcus Global. “The pandemic situation means that businesses like Arcus Global are deploying solutions at a rapid pace, and we’re pleased to have risen to that challenge.”
Without this timesaving automated approach, the potential would remain for NHS staff to spend extra time manually answering what could be a very large number of calls each day.
Beddow concludes: “Due to the constantly evolving situation with Covid-19, the information gained from this solution is more valuable than ever to both regional hospital trusts and central government alike. We’re really proud that Arcus Global continues to innovate and help its customers wherever possible in the fight against this unprecedented pandemic.”
