Guneet Malik will support Arcus and its business development objectives over the course of 10 weeks

Cambridge-based Arcus Global, a cloud solutions provider for the public sector, has hired an apprentice from Cambridge Judge Business School. Guneet Malik is currently working his way towards achieving an MBA with a concentration on digital transformation.

The 10-week apprenticeship will see Malik working alongside Sales and Marketing Director, Nick Howes, gaining valuable experience through projects within Arcus Global’s business development unit. He will be responsible for supporting the organisation’s strategic objectives and will help to identify areas of growth by carrying out data and market analysis.

With a background in data analytics and public policy, Malik is familiar with the public sector, having previously worked for the Government of India in New Delhi. Talking about his role at Arcus Global, Malik said, “This is a great opportunity to learn more about how the private and public sectors in the UK interact. My work at Arcus allows me to gain a deeper understanding of the role it plays in developing cloud services that deliver better outcomes for citizens.”

Malik gained a place on the apprenticeship programme after first learning about it during a leadership talk given at the school by Arcus Global Founder, Director and fellow Cambridge MBA alumni, Denis Kaminskiy.

Kaminskiy comments: “We are thrilled to have Guneet join us and provide him with real hands-on experience. The public sector is seeing somewhat of an acceleration in digital transformation projects at the moment, so it’s a great time for him to come onboard. Having graduated from Cambridge Judge Business School myself, it’s great that we have the opportunity to support our local community and nurture the next generation of talent.”
