Arcus Global, a cloud solutions provider for the public sector, has hired Tony Burrows as business development director. In his role, Burrows will be responsible for commercial activity, identifying new market opportunities, leading on bids, and driving outcomes for customers utilising the Salesforce platform.

The Isle of Anglesey County Council has gone live with Arcus Global’s planning and building control applications. The new cloud-based system enables the Council to record and process all applications, notifications and enquiries. It provides a single source of data to drive business efficiency and enable remote working.

Amazon Connect is the artificial intelligence (AI) based, automated service that powers the contact centre of the world’s most customer centric company – Amazon.com. It is also the technology that we used for our successful project with the NHS Business Services Authority – which resolved 42% of calls to the European Health Insurance Card (EHIC) service.

We are delighted to announce that we are listed in the 2017 Deloitte UK Technology Fast 50, a ranking of the 50 fastest growing technology companies in the UK. Rankings are based on percentage revenue growth over the last four years. Arcus Global grew 491 per cent during this period.

The Department for Communities and Local Government’s (DCLG) purpose is to support the creation of great places to live and work, and to give more power to local people to shape what happens in their area. In 2015, the department chose Arcus Global to build a secure platform on AWS for hosting its applications.

Initially the Alexa skill will be used to ask for payment options for council tax, to obtain information on recycling, waste collections, and recycled needle collections. Residents will also be able ask questions on the political and council leadership.
