About the Role

Arcus Global is growing rapidly and delivers next generation technology to our clients within the public sector. Our aim is to disrupt the stale market, displace old competitors and bring about real change and improvement to the sectors that need it the most.

Our Amazon Web Services (AWS) Division was the first in Europe to win the Public Sector competency and has been helping the public sector to use AWS since 2011. We do everything from simple migrations to complex application platforms and are experts in architecture, security and monitoring.

You will plan, manage and deliver projects that enable our clients to use AWS.

What you’ll be doing

  • Planning & resourcing cloud infrastructure projects using AWS

  • Managing virtual teams which may involve both client staff and third parties and helping team members to prioritise and complete work to deadlines

  • Creating and updating project documents including but not limited to plans, budgets and RAID logs

  • Communicating progress & building relationships with stakeholders at the client, within Arcus and in the project team

  • Managing the relationship with smaller clients, asking QA questions, helping them to save money and ensuring that they are happy with the service that we provide

  • Understanding and coordinating the resolution of technical and business issues

  • Delivering what was promised on time and budget

  • Using a mixture of Agile and Prince2 techniques as required by the client

  • Running lessons learned reviews and improving processes

  • Writing proposals for the above work

  • Acting as the process champion in the team - documenting, enforcing and improving our processes & checking process changes in the industry to see whether we should be adopting new techniques
